Meet the Team
In the picture above – the Prospects for Youth Twinning program team in Bishkek in front of GIZ office. From left to right:
Janar Chynbaeva comes from the Issyk-Kul region, has studied in Switzerland and works in GIZ youth projects since more than five years. Janar is the responsible professional for the youth leader trainings in the project.
Evgeniia Petrivska is a youth and capacity building expert with over 16 years’ experience in international development projects. She holds a Master’s in Modern History. Evgeniia is responsible for youth employment promotion component in the project.
Christiane Oermann came 2015 to Kyrgyzstan as GIZ project manager for “Prospects for Youth program”. She is an anthropologist and a postgraduate in development cooperation from ETH Zürich. Previously Christiane has worked in South East Asian countries and in West Africa.
Bolotkan Sydykanov is the expert on youth participation in the project. He has a master in business administration and extensive professional experience in civil society support and in HIV prevention. Bolot has also worked in other Central Asian countries and in China.
Team Berlin (MitOst)
Zoya Lukyanova is deputy coordinator of the Active Citzenship Department at MitOst e.V. For past three years Zoya represented Mitost in Russia and neighboring countries as coordinator of the programs and partnerships in the fields of social innovation and social entrepreneurship. Her master thesis at Hertie School of Governance last year was on comparing ecosystems for social entrepreneurship in Russia, Georgia and Ukraine.
Jeremy Pine is a Berlin-based anthropologist from the USA. He lived in Central Asia for four year doing field research. Currently, he consults with NGOs and intergovernmental organizations while completing his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania.
