Twelve twinned pairs are taking part in the Prospects for Youth Twinning Program in 2018. Below, you can see the participants who came to the Kick-Off Meeting in June.
Rima Sahakyan (Futuro Digitale in Terranova Da Sibari, Italy) and Gulzada Musabekova (Kultur Cafe in Naryn, Kyrgyzstan). Their collaboration is focused on youth-led social entrepreneurship.
Aigerim Almanbet kyzy (Talas Oblast Youth Council in Talas, Kyrgyzstan) and Giorgi Kikalishvili (Droni in Tbilisi, Georgia). They are working together to build capacity in organizational communication so that their organizations are able to more effectively promote their activities and accomplishments.
Mirbek Asanbai uulu (Kochkor Youth Council in Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan) and Igor Hincu (EduJoc LTD in Chisinau, Moldova). Together, this team is developing tools to improve education in both Kyrgyzstan and Moldova.
Akylai Koichumanova (The Council of Youth Organizations and Committees for Youth Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Mayevka, Kyrgyzstan) and Florian Coppenrath (Centre d’Etudes Turques, Ottomanes, Balkaniques et Centrasiatiques in Paris, France). These two are making it easier for youth organizations and social scientists to collaborate on research projects that will benefit both groups.
Pavel Vassiljev (Shrokkin Group International in Tallinn, Estonia) and Jadyra Balabasova (Institute for Youth Development in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan). This pair is creating an interactive game that will be used with youth groups to develop the soft skills needed for entering the work force.
Kanybek Kamalov (City Hall Youth Center in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan) and Kerstin Müller (Apollo e.V. in Berlin, Germany). They are examining how farming techniques and expertise can be shared between their countries.
Altynai Amantur kyzy (Move Green in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) and Judith Kiss (DRA e.V. in Berlin, Germany). These two are initiating programs that will enlist youth to contribute towards cleaner air and more effective waste management.
Nurbek Zakeryayev (Bekem Yntymak in Ak-Suu, Kyrgyzstan) and Aliona Dmukhovska (RespublicaFEST organized by Territory in Kiev, Ukraine). They are working to bring musical education and appreciation to youth in their communities.
Janyl Momunkulova (Y-PEER in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) and Nvard Minasyan (Fashion Tour in Yerevan, Armenia). This team is creating and conducting trainings for women to help them enter the labor market.
Tolobek Beishenbekov (Ynsap Elim in Balykchy, Kyrgyzstan) and Horst Weinlich (Grüner Grashalm e.V. in Fahren, Germany). This partnership is using outdoor adventure activities to work with youth dealing facing issues like migration and disability.
Aitilek Kanybekova (Leadership Youth Volunteer Organization in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan) and Ajala Carvalho (European Youth Press in Berlin, Germany). They are producing training materials to increase media literacy among youth.
Lazarina Boneva (Institute for Social Integration in Sofia, Bulgaria) and Olga Lavrinovich (Cornelius Society – Gender Center in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan). This pair is focused on empowering women from vulnerable communities, and producing research about the effectiveness of workshops and trainings.
